• Painting the ward #55 of the Colombo General Hospital May 1989. Participation 50 Interactors.

This was organized by the Interact Club of Carey College on behalf of the District. This was held on the N.C.C Grounds and the Interact Chairmen Rt. Mangala Gunawardena was the chief guest.

This event was held at the Moors sports Grounds. The chief guest was Rt. Suresh Melvani.

• Workshop for the Office Bearers
  
  A workshop for the office bearers of Interact clubs was held at the Centenary hall of the Ananda College. This event had been organized by the Interact Club of Ananda College and the Interact club of Wycherly International School. This was held in April 1990. These workshop was conducted by the P.P Rtn. Gamini Edirisinghe and P DRR. Rtn. Fridzy Mohideen. 
   

• Inter-Interact Swimming Competition
  
  This had also been held in the April 1990.  This project had been jointly organized by the Interact club of Bishops College, Interact club od D.S Senanayake College and the interact club of Wrychely International School. The venue this competition was held was at the D.S Senanayake College Swimming pool while the chief guest was Interact chairman Rtn. Suresh Melwani.

• The Scholarship Fund - Tickets were sold by the District committee in aid of the Scholarship fund.
   

• Twenty five Interactors had represented Sri-lanka at the District Conference, which was held at India in January 1990.
   

• The 5th District Conference had been held at the D.S Senanayaka Vidyalaya hall. This event had been inaugurated by the District Govener PP. Rtn. Gemunu Gunathilake.
   

• The District has hosted 165 inmates of the Victoria Home to Dinner on the month of June of 1990.
   

• The District Assembley was the final project to be held by the District Committee.
