10 District meetings were held during this Interact year at the following schools

Youth Services Activities Month

Decided by the Rotary International to celebrate the youth activities on a major scale, a month was declared as the Youth Activities month. This ranged from September 15th - October 15th.
Sports Festival

This was organized in collaboration with the SLANA (Sri-Lanka Anti Narcotics Association), based on the theme "Let promote health living without drugs" 5 types of sports activities took place on this day;

Cricket
Badminton
Swimming
Volleyball
Carom

The finals of these sports rounds were held at Sugathadasa Stadium and St. Benedicts college. This final rounds were held in the presence of large audience.

Rotary Family Fiesta

This project had been a complete success having turning up of guests of more than expected figures of over 700 members.
Initiation of the Hill Country Zone

This was possible under the leadership of Int. PP. Ranil Herath of the Dharmaraja College Kandy. This zone includes Interact clubs of Kandy and Matale.
The District Conference

The District which was organized by the Interact club of St. Peters college non the 5th, 6th and 7th of March 1993 was significant due to several factors.

The Chief guest being the Former president of Sri-lanka, His excellency J.R Jayawardena and the Guest of Honor the Minister of Industries, Science and technology Mr. Ranil Wickramasinghe.
- It recorded a participation of around 380 interactors.
- Participation of Interactors from St. John's College, Jaffna.
- Organization of an excursion to Airport Garden hotel after two years, with a participation of 147 Interactors.

Int. PP. Duminda De Silva of the Interact club of Ananda College was elected as the DIR for the Coming year at the District conference.
