• District Meetings
  
  12 District meetings were held in the Interact year 1993-1994 at the following schools.

• 3rd District Assembly
  
  The district Assembly was held on 26th of June 1993 and was hosted by the Interact club of Carey College. The attendance to this event was of high level of a record number of 550 Interactors, Rotractors and Rotarians took part in this project.
   

• SLANA Health Run
  
  The Interact District was invited by the SLANA health run organizing committee to select Interactors to take part in this health run as marshals. As a result 50 Interactors were selected as Marshals in eight different points along the runway.
   

• Youth services activities month
  
  In lieu to the Youth services activities month designed by the Rotary International the District requested all clubs to organize a seminar or a lecture for the youth. Majority of Interact clubs successfully completed this project.
   

• Interaction 1993
  
  This was the major interact project in the year 1993 and was held on July. The theme for this youth festival was “Sports promote a drug free society”

Pure Beverages Company sponsored this event, and the Sunday Observer agreed to co-sponsor this event. This event was a huge success in the Interact history of Sri-Lanka. This is being proven by the letters that the project chair-person received exceeding the amount of 1000.

Sponsored by the Coca –Cola and SLANA, T-shits and caps were sold at the prices of 75 and 25 respectively. The attractive posters in the Kandy and Colombo District gave the publicity to this.

To raise funds a raffle draw was held at the premises including 2 airline tickets to Maldives. Over 1000 tickets had been sold at this project.

The final rounds of the sports activities were held at the Sugathadasa stadium on the 16th and 17th of October. Among the schools that showed a high degree of enthusiasm were the interact club of Ananda College and the Interact club of Isipathana College.

Over 300 Interactors from the Kandy and Matale Districts took part in this competition.

• Interflash 1993
  
  The award presentation ceremony for the Interaction- Interflash was held at the Hendry Pediris Grounds, Colombo on the 17th of October.
  
  The chief guest for this occasion was the Minister of Sports and youth affairs Hon. Nanda Mathew.
  
  Beside  the presentation of Awards, a Fashion show, a beat show and a fun games kept the audiences alive. Among them the fashion show and the beat show was entirely produced by the Interactors.
  
  This successful project was able to earn the District of a profit more than Rs.60000. This profit was contributed to the following organizations and funds.
  
  Rs. 15000 to the Rotary foundation
  Rs. 5000 to the Rotary center.
  Rs. 5000 to the Indian disaster fund.

• Zonal Reorganization
  
  The District was reorganized to include 6 Zones especially in the outstation areas. So they could plan their own zonal organization projects. The new Zones are as follows.

  These new clubs were formed in the following schools. Also the District reached the landmark of having 100 clubs in the interact year 1993-1994

• 3rd District Conference

This Project took place on 4th, 5th, 6th of March at S. Thomas’s College and was hosted by the interact clubs of Bishop's College and the Interact Club of S. Thomas’ College.
 

• District community service project
  
  The main community service project of the district was painting the dining hall and its furniture at the Sri-lankadara home Wellawatte. The project was carried out on 29th of May 1994 and many Interactors in the district attended to this project. Also they donated tea and several gallons of paint.
   

• Inter-Interact Cricket tournament
  
  The main organizers of this event was the Interact Club of Mahanama College. The results of this competition are as follows.
   

  • Winner of the Boys Section - St. Thomas' Preparatory school

  • Winners of the Girls section - Sujatha Vidyalaya

• 4th District Assembly
  
  Organized by the Interact Club of St. Peters College Colombo, the 4th District Assembly was held on the 25th of June.
