  • 1st District Meeting (7th August – S. Thomas’ College)

    Welcomed clubs into the new year, sparking enthusiasm and unity across the Interact district.

  • Project Inter Cast – Season 2 (YouTube Podcast)

    Addressed youth challenges through insightful episodes on empowerment, mental health, and leadership.

  • 2nd District Meeting (4th September – D.S. Senanayake College)

    Continued district engagement with updates, recognitions, and shared inspiration.

  • 3rd District Meeting (2nd October – Royal College Union Skills Centre)

    A vibrant convergence of clubs fostering collaboration and progress.

  • 4th District Meeting (6th November – St. Peter’s College)

    Celebrated Hajj and Diwali, showcasing cultural inclusivity and multi-club teamwork.

  • Interact Week Celebrations (7–12 November)

    A series of service projects aligned with Rotary’s 7 Areas of Focus and 17 SDGs, merging impact with awareness.

    • Interbiz (7 Nov): Encouraged youth entrepreneurship for community upliftment.

    • Enlighten (9 Nov): Promoted literacy through interactive learning.

    • Nutriboost (10 Nov): Raised awareness on maternal and infant nutrition.

    • Salvation (11 Nov): Conducted a large-scale blood donation campaign.

    • Salvation Workshop (12 Nov): Held a panel on mental health and resilience.

  • GreenCon (27th November)

    An eco-awareness summit held across beaches and schools, fueling youth-driven conservation efforts.

  • 5th District Meeting (4th December – Trace Expert City)

    Joyful Christmas celebrations paired with progress updates and club showcases.

  • Rotary International President Visit (14th December – Shangri-La Hotel)

    A historic day featuring the launch of the Interact Anthem and recognitions for the 1 Million Trees Initiative.

  • Project Intercede – Better Tomorrow

    • Phase 1 (3rd January): Blood donation drive at the National Blood Transfusion Centre.

    • Phase 2 (May): Water well donations across Eastern Province for underserved communities.

  • Project Intercede – Edu Sight

    A multi-phase education initiative featuring a donation drive, awareness posters, and seminars for students.

  • Project Intercede – Inclusion, Eco Light, Illuminate

    Promoted equity, sustainability, and awareness on pressing social issues through targeted outreach.

  • Project Interlude – Pulse, Action Aid, Magnolia
    Partnered with Rotary to execute health and environment-based initiatives across multiple phases.

  • 6th District Meeting (8th January – Ilma International Girls’ School)

    A continuation of district collaboration through creative presentations and club updates.

  • Project Interaction (Premier Sports Event)

    • Colombo Interaction: Beach & Grounds Day led by Int. Joshua Almeda.

    • Hill Country Interaction: Indoor & Outdoor events led by Int. Ramua Bandaranayake.

      Celebrated athleticism and school pride, with four schools emerging as champions.

  • Interact Leadership Training (ILT)

    Held in Colombo, Kandy & Galle with interviews, training, exams, and community service—an intensive leadership experience.

  • Design Age Workshop (24th February – Zoom)

    A creative design session hosted by Mr. Supun Dulanga, enhancing media and content skills.

  • Project Live Light – Semifinals (24th February – BMICH Front Lawn)

    A dynamic showcase of Interactors’ talents in performing arts and creativity.

  • 8th District Meeting (6th March – Zahira College)

    Concluded with the DIR candidates’ manifesto presentations, paving the way for next-gen leadership.

  • International DIR Convention (11th March – Hosted by District 3292)

    A global networking experience featuring DIR Julian Fernandopulle’s inspiring address.

  • 32nd Interact District Conference (17th March – Temple Trees)

    Graced by the President of Sri Lanka, the conference welcomed new leadership and celebrated success.

  • Interflash 2023 (4th April – Nelum Pokuna Outdoor Stadium)

    A record-breaking concert with over 11,000 participants chaired by Int. Rezon David with support from an energetic media crew.

  • 9th District Meeting – Avurudu Celebration (8th April – Mahamaya Girls’ School)

    A colorful festival uniting clubs across traditions, laughter, and shared pride.

  • 10th District Meeting – “Wrapped Up” (12th June – St. Benedict’s College)

    An emotional finale celebrating memories, milestones, and the spirit of service.

  • 33rd Interact District Assembly (17th June – Temple Trees)

    The grand culmination of the year, attended by 800+ and dignitaries including the Prime Minister and RI leaders.
