ABOUT THE INTERACT DISTRICT 3220
SRI LANKA & MALDIVES
The Interact District 3220 hopes that we are able to create a robust mindset of “Unite For Good” during our year of Interact. We hope to continuously engage in “Service Above Self” together as one movement, irrespective of our background, culture and creed not considering accolades or recognition but purely in the name of service.
The theme for the year highlights the value of service in these adverse times and the morale that all interactors should inculcate in order to create a better world. We hope to create a sense of family and belonging among each and every interactor that belongs to the Interact District and aspire to make the world a better place together by working towards one motive. We hope we are able to kindle the true meaning of service and most of all, to “Prosper Through Service”.
Five Avenues of Interact
Community Service
Though community service is not an exclusive aspect of Interact, it is the heart and soul of the movement.
International Understanding
International Understanding is an avenue of service that promotes international good-will and understanding amongst communities to promote world peace and understanding to the members.
Club Service
Club service is essentially the avenue of interact which focuses on the wellbeing and the development of the basic foundation of a club which is its members.
Green life
The avenue of Green Life holds immense importance in the current world, seeing the lack of respect or thought we pay to Mother Earth.
Finance
The finance projects and the fundraisers help to fund projects which happen under the other avenues of the club.
